Love is Dubai — Camel Milk Soap with palm tree packaging by Kemiskhan Atelier Dubai

Love is Dubai — Palm Trees, Camel Milk & the Art of Soap

There is a sentence I keep coming back to, over and over again: Love is Dubai.

I say it often. I feel it every day. And today, as I finished a new soap sleeve design — a palm tree glowing with light, drawn entirely from my imagination — I understood once again why this country is the source of everything I create.

The Palm That Started It All

The date palm is not just a tree. In the UAE, it is heritage. It is generosity. It is the shade your grandmother sat under, the fruit on your table during Ramadan, the silhouette against a desert sunset that makes your heart feel full.

When I sat down to design the new packaging for our Camel Milk Soap, I did not look for references online. I looked out at my life here — my garden, my family, the golden light that falls differently in Dubai than anywhere else in the world. And the palm came to me naturally, the way all true inspiration does.

The sleeve I created — "Love is Dubai" — shows a palm with light radiating from it. To me, it is not just a design. It is my world made visible. The desert. The heritage. The beauty I see in ordinary things every single day.

Camel Milk — A Gift from the Desert

Camel milk has been treasured across the Arab world for centuries — not just as food, but as medicine, as nourishment, as a symbol of the desert's quiet generosity. It is rich in vitamins, naturally gentle, deeply moisturising, and kind to even the most sensitive skin.

It is my favourite soap to make. And now, wrapped in a sleeve that carries the soul of this land, it feels complete.

Seeing Miracles in Everything

People sometimes ask me where my inspiration comes from. The answer is simple: I live in a place that shows me miracles every day. The way light hits the desert in the morning. The smell of dates at the market. My children playing in the garden under the palms. The warmth of people here — their generosity, their pride in their heritage.

All of this goes into every bar of soap I make. Every design. Every package tied with a ribbon.

Dubai did not just give me a home. It gave me my art.

Love is Dubai — and every soap we make carries a little piece of that love.
